Workshops
Cynthia teaches courses and workshops, with an aim to broaden the knowledge and skill of dancers in different styles of belly dance. Her courses and workshops focus both on developing technique, plus learning choreographies and the use of props such as cane, veil and Isis wings.
Cynthia currently lives in Sydney, Australia and is available to teach workshops at festivals and conferences throughout AUSTRALIA. She will also continue to make visits to the UK where she hold workshops.
She specialises in Egyptian baladi, Saidi folklore and Raks Assaya as well as any forms of traditional/modern Egyptian Oriental dance.

Advance your skills with this traditional folkloric dance with Cynthia.
Fresh back from London where, after several trips to Egypt to study with master teachers, she established and honed her skill as a specialist in this style.
You will learn to combine more complex cane work with foot/hip moves to make your Raks Assaya dance the earthy, dynamic, entertaining and powerful dance it should be! Please bring your own cane/stick to this workshop.
Level : For Int/Adv/professional dancers that already have some experience of dancing with the cane/stick.
