London’s seasonal West London Hafla hosted by Cynthia
The “Belly Dance to the West” Hafla was a project started by Cynthia in November 2008. The main aim was to establish high quality Oriental Dance events in West and North West London, hosting some of London and the UK’s most renowned professional dancers, promoting upcoming dancers as well as giving her advance students an opportunity to perform in a supportive environment. Over the past two year, each hafla has been a sold out event, so book your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment!

Cynthia
London based professional Oriental Dance artist, teacher and choreographer. Cynthia has become well known for fusing a solid understanding of folkloric, classical & modern Egyptian dance with other influences to create her own style of oriental dance and choreographies that has been described as “authentic, ” “passionate” and “dynamic”. She is a regular performer on the London scene and has also performed abroad including Cairo. She has a wealth of teaching experience and runs her own Oriental Dance School in West London. She is a very popular instructor and performer known for her authenticity, mastery of technique, clear precise instruction and extensive knowledge and skill in both traditional folkloric, classical and modern Egyptian oriental dance!

Delilah
Is modern Egyptian style dancer. She began her dance journey by learning from video clips when she was a teenager and has been hooked ever since. She is predominantly self taught. Delilah is known for her shimmies and warm fluid style of dance.

Nafiseh
Fell in love with belly dance after visiting Egypt for the first time in 2001. Egyptian dance is her passion and Nafiseh continues to develop her dance with regular trips to Cairo. Nafiseh likes to mix the strong sharp Modern Cairo style with the fluid and elegant Classical style. "Nafiseh performs and teaches in the London & Surrey areas, and is a co-organiser of popular London monthly hafla Saqarah.

Nawarra meaning flower
(Could also mean a Joyful person)
Is a Leeds based Belly dancer of a Moroccan origin, the first Arab oriental dance instructor, based in Yorkshire and the North of England ... Nawarra is among the most charismatic and acclaimed choreographer, performer and dance instructor of Moroccan dance- Maghreb Dance- of our time, with a rising reputation after the International Belly Dance Congress Show. Born and brought up in Casablanca, Nawarra also performs all Egyptian styles of dance, and other Arabian dance such as Lebanese either the shaiibi or the Debka, the Khaleejy, Palestinian debka. Known for being a strong and agile dancer with a magnetic personality she will charm any audience with her innovative choreographies and a great “stage presence”.
Razia
Is an award-winning bellydancer with over a decade of professional experience. Originally from the USA, she has studied extensively with Aziza (US/Canada) and continues her training through Hossam and Serena Ramzy's Advanced Dancers Course. Her style is refreshingly unique and she is renowned for her captivating stage presence, precise technique and exquisite musicality.
Razia offers weekly classes in South London through Hipsinc, as well as private tuition, workshops and performances throughout England. A rising star on the London scene, Razia taught and performed at the International Bellydance Congress in September and she will be featured at Raqs Britannia, Jewel of Yorkshire and several other UK hafla’s and festivals later this year. Additionally, Razia is a co-organizer of RAKS, a ''belly dance bootcamp'' for advanced and professional dancers that runs annually in Belgium.

A talented Belly Dance artist, she is an accomplished performer, instructor and choreographer skilled in several styles of belly dance, Roxana continues to develop her technique based on a fusion of classical Egyptian and Turkish styles.

Shafeek Ibrahim
Is an Egyptian Dance Master and the youngest male dance talent come from Egypt. He is an International performer, teacher, choreographer who is renowned for his dynamic performance and excellent teaching skills. He is also is Director of the highly acclaimed Arabian Dance Theatre show. Shafeek is the UK's only professionally trained Arabian Folklore dancer and tanoura artist (Egyptian whirling dervish) He has over 10 years of professional dance experience appearing in film, television and theatre, his repertoire is vast and also includes modern and tradition styles of belly dance as well as ballet, contemporary and world dance. Shafeek's knowledge of dance is extensive and highly respected. He is a warm and inspirational dancer.
